The Baker men’s golf team finished up its season with a fifth-place finish when it competed at the HAAC Tournament Monday and Tuesday in Boonville, Mo.
The tournament was held at Hail Ridge Golf Club, hosted by Central Methodist University.
The Wildcats went into the tournament ranked fifth, and despite poor weather conditions, were able to hold on to that fifth-place rank.
“It was really wet,” head coach Karen Exon said. “The golf course had over four inches of rain, but the course was in surprisingly good shape.”
Having played 36 holes on the first day, the Wildcats closed the gap on Missouri Valley College, but couldn’t surpass the Vikings.
Freshman Mason Dick finished lowest overall for Baker, having shot a 223 total score that placed him fifth overall, where he received All-HAAC honors.
