Junior Clarence Clark is the football team's dual-threat weapon and has been for three seasons. Clark was a first-team All-Heart South wide receiver and kicker in 2016, and an All-American wide receiver in 2015.

The Baker Wildcats beat Eastern Oregon 45-41 on Saturday to advance to the NAIA-FCS title game for the first time in 30 years. The Wildcats will take on No. 4 Saint Francis on Dec. 17 in Daytona Beach, Florida.

After losing in 2013 and 2015 in the NAIA FCS quarterfinals, the No. 2 Wildcats finally crossed the bridge into the semifinals with a 42-27 win over No. 8 Lindsey Wilson on Saturday afternoon at Liston Stadium. Baker is into the semifinals for the first time since 1993 and the first time under head coach Mike Grossner.

For the third time in the last four seasons, the Baker Wildcats have won their opening round game of the NAIA FCS Playoffs and will now advance into the quarterfinals. No. 2 Baker beat No. 13 Sterling College 44-21 on Saturday at Liston Stadium.

Ruth Sarna—better known as “Nurse Ruth” around Baker University—served as the campus nurse for 25 years until her retirement in 2013. She remains Baker football's most avid fans, attending every game.

After perfect regular season, No. 2 Wildcats ready for playoffs

The No. 2 Baker Wildcats are perfect through their first 11 games of the season and are the first team in program history to start a season 11-0. The Wildcats will now play in the NAIA FCS Playoffs for the fourth time in the last five years after capturing the Heart of America Athletic Conference South Division title. The Wildcats host Sterling College on Nov. 19 at Liston Stadium.

The No. 2 Wildcats trailed No. 9 Missouri Valley 28-24, and their perfect season was on the line when the Baker offense marched out onto the field with 1:54 to play on Saturday. Junior quarterback Logan Brettell then led Baker 68 yards down the field in only six plays, and junior running back Cornell Brown scored the game’s winning touchdown with 46 seconds remaining.

Football rolls CMU, ready for No. 9 Missouri Valley

After blowing out Central Methodist 73-26 on Saturday in Fayette, Missouri, the No. 2 Baker Wildcats are 9-0 and in prime position to win the Heart of America Athletic Conference’s South Division. The Wildcats have won 15 consecutive conference games and 19 of their last 20 in Heart play, dating back to the beginning of 2015.

Wildcats win at MNU for first time since 1996

The No. 2 Baker Wildcats went into the locker room on Saturday afternoon in Olathe trailing for the first time this season. MNU led Baker 17-14 at the end of the first half, and the Pioneers were looking for their 15th win in their last 17 football games against Baker. But the Wildcats exploded in the second half, scoring 41 points and winning 55-34.

The No. 2 Baker football team is off to a 7-0 start for the second time since 2014. The Wildcats beat the Avila Eagles 52-7 on Saturday night at Liston Stadium and improved to 15-0 all time against the Eagles.

The No. 4 Baker Wildcats avenged their only regular season loss of the 2015 season with a 60-7 win over the No. 12 Benedictine College Ravens on Saturday at Liston Stadium. The Wildcats outscored the Ravens 51-0 after the first quarter and kept their perfect 5-0 record intact.
