Big win at Graceland sets up homecoming showdown

The No. 4 Baker Wildcats picked up their fourth win in four games with a 44-15 victory at Graceland in Lamoni, Iowa , on Saturday. After leading only 16-3 at halftime, the Wildcats scored 28 second-half points to win their second-straight road game.

The No. 5 Baker Wildcat football team picked up its first road win of the 2016 season with a dominant 41-7 win over William Penn on Saturday in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Senior wide receiver Quanzee Jonson’s four receiving touchdowns helped power the Wildcats to a 3-0 start this fall.

The No. 5 Baker Wildcat football team put together a record-breaking day in an 89-27 beatdown of Culver-Stockton College on Saturday afternoon at Liston Stadium. Baker improved to 2-0 with the win and broke a 96-year old school record in the process.

For the second straight season, the No. 5 Baker Wildcats opened up their season with a win over the No. 6 Grand View Vikings on Saturday afternoon at Liston Stadium. Unlike last season, Baker dominated Grand View from start to finish and picked up a 36-13 win.
Baker dual threat wide receiver and kicker Clarence Clark returns for the 2016 season. Clark was a first-team All-Heart South receiver last season after catching 68 passes for 1,113 yards and 16 touchdown.

No. 5 BU football team set for 2016 season

The Baker football team begins its 2016 campaign as the No. 5 team in the NAIA after winning the Heart of America Athletic Conference South Division in 2015 and reaching the second round of the playoffs. The Wildcats have many tools back and look to continue their surge toward the top of the NAIA in 2016.

Through the cold and wind, Baker’s offense was effective against the warm-weather Point University’s defense in a 68-21 win on Saturday in Liston Stadium. The Wildcats put up a season-high 605 yards of total offense and are now one step closer to the NAIA championship game in Daytona Beach.

The clock ticked down on the scoreboard at Volney C. Ashford Stadium in Marshall, Missouri, on Saturday, and the No. 2 Baker Wildcats knew that they had just accomplished something huge. With a 26-0 win against the Missouri Valley College Vikings, the Wildcats clinched at least a share of the Heart of America Athletic Conference South Division title.
