At the Baker University Student Senate meeting Tuesday, adviser Ray Walling asked students to collect current artifacts of student life to give to Director of Archives and Museum Jenny McCollough.
The artifacts students can bring to McCollough will be kept in Collins Library along with other archives and university artifacts.
Archives given by students can be fliers, photos or minutes from organizations.
“Well, essentially, whatever you don’t keep up with, you are going to lose,” Walling said. “Archives are a purpose of maintaining the history of some organization, some part of our community and society. With Baker, they serve that purpose of giving us what an idea of what our identity has been over time.”
