Story by Sarah Baker, Editor

Despite popular belief, once a lightbulb burns out it has not surpassed its usefulness. Light bulbs can be repurposed into decorative ornaments for any occasion, especially for Christmas. You can create your own special Christmas ornaments for your family and friends this holiday season just by reusing lightbulbs. It is a very simple process. All you need is your imagination! Lightbulb Christmas Ornaments

In my case, I used paint, glitter, some red fabric, a cotton ball and silver wire.

I had four different types of lightbulbs, ranging in sizes.

Then, I painted the lightbulbs a base color of white and then proceeded to create three Santa Clauses and a snowman. When finished, I wrapped the wire around the metal base of the lightbulb.

Now I have 4 Christmas ornaments to give away for Christmas gifts this season.

I encourage everyone to reuse and recycle anything you can find. You can save money and make memories at the same time.
