Brett Knappe, assistant professor of art history, hosted the second annual Baker Art History Conference Saturday in the Owens AV room.
The conference gave the opportunity for a select group of students to present papers on various art history topics in a business-oriented setting.
Seniors Lauren Miller and Hilary Jones were two students from Baker who were chosen to participate. All students selected had 20 minutes to present his or her paper and five minutes for questions or comments.
Seventeen universities were invited to participate in this research-based conference this year.
“I have had interest from universities such as Pennsylvania and Rhode Island,” Knappe said. “I am hoping to expand more next year to extend invitations to around 40 universities.”
