Ryan Beasley, associate professor of Political Science, will leave Baker University at the end of the academic year.
Rand Ziegler, vice president and dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, made the announcement in an e-mail sent to Baker faculty Wednesday.
“Ryan is very enthused about this new professional opportunity, and I am excited for him as well,” Ziegler said in the e-mail to faculty. “On the other hand, I am very disappointed that CAS will lose one of its most talented teachers.”
Beasley and his wife have both been offered positions at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
