  • Freshman Justin Howard and teammates run out of the inflatable football helmet prior to the first round of the NAIA playoff games. President Lynne Murray offered the first 100 students free admission through the gate. The Wildcats lost to Georgetown 36-33.

  • Junior Nate McLaurin greeted the opposing team before the coin flip. The Wildcats won the coin flip and the game began at 1:05 p.m. on Nov. 18.

  • 2017 Heart South Offensive Player of the Year JD Woods scores on the opening play of the game by receiving an 88-yard touchdown pass from Logan Brettell. Woods had another 20-yard touchdown run before halftime.

  • Senior Krista Porter pumps up the crowd who eagerly await the Nov. 18 game to begin at Liston Stadium. The dance team performed during halftime.

  • This is the third consecutive time that the Wildcats had an appearance in the NAIA Football Playoffs. At halftime the Wildcats led Georgetown 26-20.

  • Senior Amanda Love and other band students play the saxophone. The band performed at Liston Stadium while the Wildcats took on Georgetown. They played a number of different songs throughout the game.

  • The Wildcats ranked number six while Georgetown ranked number 12. Baker will not advance in the playoffs.
