The Wildcats made short work of conference foe Central Methodist University Tuesday night at Collins Center, beating the Eagles in three games.
Entering the match after having lost four straight, the Baker University volleyball team won the first game. The ‘Cats rallied from behind to win game one 30-24.
Student assistant coach Emily Grabner said she felt the win was great for team morale.
“As a team we played very well,” Grabner said. “It was a big confidence booster for this team after having a bad weekend.”
Junior Kelly Wilbur agreed with Grabner.
“We picked it up a lot after a bad weekend.” Wilbur said.
In the second game, Baker took control after it was tied 13-13, winning the next five points and the game 30-25.
Baker finished game three, winning the game 30-21.
