Junior Bryce Lathrop will be participating in his third Honor Recital Friday.

Lathrop, who will be playing the alto saxophone, is one of 11 students who were selected to play in the Honor Recital, which is at 7:30 p.m. in McKibbin Recital Hall.

“There were auditions,” Lathrop said. “You showed up and had about a five to 10-minute slot to fill. I brought in a song that I had been working on all semester that I actually performed at my junior recital.”

Freshman Katherine Dick, soprano; sophomores Adrienne Barclay, piano; Mariah Barnett, cello; Scott Ireland, marimba; Marlee Johnson, soprano; Margo Rodewald, soprano and Baker Orange Lifestyles editor; Michael Turnbo, violin; junior Judy Erpelding, violin; and seniors Eli Jones, tenor; and Scott Marks, alto saxophone, will also play in the recital. <br/>Lathrop is excited about the event.Lathrop is excited about the event.
