The men’s and women’s tennis teams begin their fall seasons with the HAAC Fall Kickoff Saturday in Marshall, Mo.
The tournament is the first for new head coach Joe Ahmadian.
Ahmadian is a former BU tennis player and was named the Baker University Athlete of the Year in 2007.
Ahmadian is looking forward to seeing how BU matches up against the other teams in the conference.
“Our main goal for the season is to improve as much as possible and not focus too much on results,” he said.
Ahmadian doesn’t quite know what to expect from the other teams in the conference, but is excited to see how both teams compete against HAAC opponents.
“I’m really looking forward to it,” Ahmadian said. “That’s the fun part of my job.”
