The theatre department performed "The Bippolo Seed and Other Lost Stories" as their first production of the semester. The production told numerous stories by Dr. Seuss and was a staged reading.

The men's and women's golf teams opened up their seasons at the Ottawa Fall Invitational in Lawrence at Eagle Bend Golf Course. The women's team finished fourth as senior Bailey Gibson lead the way for the 'Cats with a tie for 17th place. The men's team finished sixth and senior Alec Wuellner finished in the top position on the team in eighth place.
The mens team toes the line for their 5K race at the Baldwin City Golf Course Sept. 2. The men finished fourth as a team with 101 points.
