The men’s soccer team posted a 7-3 victory on Saturday at Culver-Stockton College. This was the first time these two teams have met since the 2014 Heart of America Athletic Conference Tournament Championship. The No. 10 ranked Wildcats moved to 9-1-1 overall and 3-0 in the conference.

Men’s soccer dominates Evangel 12-0

The men’s soccer team won its third consecutive game by defeating Evangel 12-0 Sept. 23 at Liston Stadium behind hat tricks from sophomore Blake Levine and freshman Joe Houlihan. This was the first time the men played with their new No. 10 national ranking in the first regular-season NAIA Coaches’ Poll. It was the first time they’ve scored 12 goals in one game since 2007.

The men’s soccer team proved to be human this past week with a 1-1 draw on Wednesday night at Park and its first loss Friday night at home to Doane College 1-0. The men won their first five games of the season and the first four without conceding a goal.

The magical run for the Baker Wildcats men’s soccer team came to an end Nov. 22 with a 4-1 loss at the University of Rio Grande in the first round of the NAIA national tournament. The top-seeded Red Storm dominated the Heart of America Athletic Conference champions as its attack and defense proved to be too strong for Baker.

The Baker University men’s soccer team defeated Graceland 2-1 in the HAAC Conference Tournament quarterfinals on Saturday, Nov. 8, in Lamoni, Iowa. This win sends the ‘Cats to face their rival in Olathe, the Mid-America Nazarene Pioneers, at 1 p.m. on Wednesday for semifinals.
