The Baker University women are into Tuesday night's NAIA national championship game after beating conference rival Benedictine 50-34 in the Fab Four. Senior Ericka Simpson’s career-high 24 points pushed the Wildcats to a dominating win Monday night at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena in Independence, Missouri.

The No. 22 Baker women beat the No. 13 Lewis-Clark State Warriors 71-52 in the NAIA quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon in Independence, Missouri, and clinched a trip to the Fab Four for the first time in school history. The Wildcats will take on their conference rival Benedictine at 6 p.m. on Monday night.

The women’s basketball team sent its seniors out with an 85-43 win over Peru State, the largest margin of victory in conference play this season. The four seniors accounted for 44 of the team's points and exited with a standing ovation halfway through the fourth quarter.
