After a week of recruitment events, Baker University greek chapters have given bid cards to potential new members.
Seventy-nine men were registered for fraternity recruitment, and as of 1 p.m. Saturday, 38 were accepted as new members.
As of Tuesday, Kappa Sigma fraternity has accepted 17 new members, Delta Tau Delta fraternity has 12 new members, Sigma Phi Epsilon has four new members and Zeta Chi fraternity has three new members.
The number of men registered increased from last year, when only 54 men went through the recruitment process.
Seventy-three women were registered for sorority recruitment, and 42 women accepted bids.
“All of the houses are currently in the process of … continuing with open bidding new members, so the houses have actually gotten more girls over the past few days, but for formal recruitment, those are the numbers,” Panhellenic President Molly Bostwick said.
Delta Delta Delta sorority and Zeta Tau Alpha sorority each received 15 new members, while Alpha Chi Omega sorority has 12 new members.
