Choir members poured their heart and soul into performances Oct. 26 in Rice Auditorium and pulled off a successful concert in the opinion of Director of Choral Activities Matthew Potterton.
The concert shared a wide variety of musical styles from the concert, chamber and community choirs, including interactive pieces by the men and women and a world premiere based off poems of a young girl, who lost her battle to cancer.
“I thought this was a successful concert,” Potterton said. “The bar continues to rise, and so vespers will be one notch up from this and the spring concert will be better than both of these concerts combined.”
