After a long day of classes, sometimes some of us just need a little R&R. Kick back, relax, maybe read a book, watch TV, or in my case, listen to some music.
When I’m hanging out in my room and need some time to analyze the day, I tend to listen to music that provides a nice background while at the same time still having some presence.
The Republic Tigers, a band from right here in Kansas City, provides soft vocals with a very alt-rock feel. Think Arcade Fire but a tad less instrumental.
Though their last album, an EP titled No Land’s Man<em>No Land&#8217;s Man</em>, was released in 2011, there is much to look forward to from this local treasure.
