Zeta Tau Alpha sorority hosted its first Pink Out 5K on April 21 at the Baldwin City Golf Course. With about 40 participants, the race brought in more than $600 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
During the event, members of Zeta Tau Alpha stood at different locations along the course and threw pink powder on the runners. Participants were given white shirts prior to the race, but some runners chose to wear pink in honor of breast cancer awareness.
Baker alumnus Kit Harris was the overall winner of the race.
