JODIE RANDELS – Coordinator of CAS Registrar’s Office
While the registrar’s office is typically the place to make schedule changes, request a transcript or declare a major, the women in Constant Hall room one are prepared to answer all kinds of university-related questions. Jodie Randels
“We want to be the most knowledgeable office on campus,” Jodie Randels, coordinator of College of Arts and Sciences registrar’s office, said.
Along with the other four women in the office, Randels seems to spend a lot of time working on things not in her job description.
“We get a lot of questions from students that have nothing to do with us,” Randels said. “We try to pride ourselves on at least putting them into contact with the correct person.”
Randels said they keep an updated list of university contact information to assist students in finding who they need.
“Sometimes it’s hard to find out the who’s and the what’s at Baker so we keep a list,” Randels said. “I hate wild goose chases for myself, and I really hate to send a student on one.”
Randels said her office most often officially helps freshmen verify their enrollment, usually for insurance purposes, but they’re happy to be that “one-stop shop” for any answer a student may need.
