While the County Line Clash may be a showdown between two nationally ranked football teams, Saturday’s festivities branch out farther than Liston Stadium.

Ottawa, Baker battle in annual food drive

Baker University and Baldwin City are teaming up to make Saturday’s rivalry game between BU and Ottawa University a community-wide event. Activities include tailgates, music, games and a classic car show.

The 700 block of High Street will be blocked off for the pregame events. The music, car show and games begin at 1 p.m. and run until 5 p.m. A free community barbeque will also run from 1-2 p.m.

At 4 p.m., Kansas State Bank and the Baker Alumni Association will host an alumni tailgate at Liston Stadium.

The fourth-annual County Line Clash begins at 6 p.m., and the gates open at 4 p.m.
