With the core of its conference schedule quickly approaching, the Baker University softball team is focusing on its goals of winning a Heart of America Athletic Conference title and earning a bid to the NAIA national tournament.

The Wildcats are 2-0 in HAAC play after sweeping Graceland University on Saturday at Cavaness Field. Senior Alyse Menghini hopes to build off BU’s success in the conference opener.

“As a senior, my goal for the team is to make it to nationals, for sure, go to Alabama” Menghini said. “I’d love to win conference and would love to make it there my last year, going out with a bang.”
