DIY: Altered Book Update
From old textbooks that Amazon wouldn’t buy back to copies of To Kill A Mockingbird that haven’t been touched since high school, college students have a lot of old books that can be re-purposed. Assistant Editor Sarah Baker shows how to reuse those books that seemingly only work as paper weights. Baker chooses a different theme for her altered books, and for this one she chooses to base each page around her favorite books and TV shows.
Although Baker uses this as her theme, there are many other options. Before starting, make sure to come up with a cohesive theme that can be spread out through numerous pages.
Then, collect your supplies.
