At its first meeting of the semester, the Baker University Student Senate addressed numerous issues concerning the new semester, including the revised student senate constitution and a new grading scale.
Members of the senate also discussed the Baker University Faculty Senate’s proposal to implement an honor code.
“I feel like we still need more information on the honor code, and I hope we can have clarification from the faculty soon,” Student Senate President Warren Swenson said.
Other items on the agenda included the recognition of new student organizations and committee updates. Baker Serves, a community service-orientated club, a Pre-Dental club and the Anime club are now official Baker University organizations.
On Tuesday, the student senate will discuss and attempt to pass the revisions of the constitution.
