College Kitchen: Cinnamon and Brown Sugar Donut Holes
Ingredients:
- 1 can of Grands homestyle biscuits
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 1 ½ cups of vegetable oil
- 1 cup of sugar
- 4 tablespoons of cinnamon
Directions:
- Start off by filling a medium sized skillet up about ½ an inch full of vegetable oil. Heat the vegetable oil over medium heat for 2 minutes.
- Cut each biscuit into fourths and roll the dough into a ball.
- Once the vegetable oil is hot, begin placing the dough into the oil. Let it sit until the bottom of the dough is a golden brown color, then flip with tongs. Once both sides are golden, remove from oil and place on a paper towel lined pan or plate.
- Melt the butter in a medium-sized bowl.
- In another bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.
- When the donuts have cooled enough to handle, dip both sides of the donut in the melted butter, let the excess drip off, and then dip the donut in the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
Now, you have cinnamon & brown sugar donuts that are ready to eat!
