With the new year will come new positions for four sorority members in their chapters.
Juniors Kassie Miskho of Delta Delta Delta sorority, Molly Schmeidler of Alpha Chi Omega sorority, Rachel Felich of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority and Dannie Harris of Phi Mu sorority were elected as presidents of their chapters for the 2011 calendar year.
Brett Bruner, director of student life, said while some have held other positions in each of their chapters, this will be the first time all will be serving as president of their sororities. Miskho served as a Panhellenic delegate for Delta Delta Delta last year, but she is excited to take over as president in 2011.
“I just really think that it will be fun to lead the chapter,” she said. “I’m really excited … just to be able to lead the house as a whole and hopefully make it a better place than it already is.”
