Current education students interested in finding out what teaching in the real world is really like got the chance to hear about it from Baker alumni who currently are teachers.
The Baker University Student Education Association sponsored the event Thursday in Case Hall.
Carolyn Doolittle, who is the BUSEA faculty adviser, said this event not only helped current education, but also helped her better prepare her students.
“I learned a lot about teaching after I started,” Doolittle said. “My biggest surprise was my first parent-teacher conference.”
BUSEA officers came up with the idea for the event when they went to a conference this summer.
