The Baker University tennis teams had another tough weekend of indoor matches.
The Wildcats took on Tabor College Saturday, with the men finishing with a 6-3 loss and the women winning 5-4.
“Even though the men lost, we won two out of three doubles matches, which I think is a sign of how good our team work can be,” head coach Joe Ahmadian said.
Baker played Rockhurst University Sunday in Kansas City, Mo., and lost 7-0 on the men’s side and 9-0 on the women’s.
“We were playing some elite competition, and I think the team was tired both mentally and physically,” Ahmadian said.
The Wildcats have a week off before beginning their outdoor season with the Spring Alumni Match March 12 in Overland Park.
