What you need:

• Wooden puzzle piece
• Wood leaves (can be pre-colored)
• Wooden letters (can be pre-colored)
• Acrylic paints in a variety of colors
• Paint brushes in different widths
• Paper Towels
• Plastic cup with water
• Glue

Directions

1. Paint the puzzle piece the desired color. This may take a few coats to get an even color.
2. If your leaves and letters aren’t already colored, paint them your desired colors. This may take a few coats to get an even color.
3. Allow puzzle piece, letters, and leaves time to dry. This should take about 24 hours.
4. Once everything is dry, lay out the leaves and letters in the desired places on the puzzle piece.
5. Begin by gluing the letters. For best results, begin with the middle letter and work out on both sides. Cover the backs of the letters with glue completely.
6. Glue on the leaves.
7. Allow 24 hours for the glue to dry.
