Kansas is the only state required to complete a Census Adjustment, which must be filled out every 10 years, by law.
“It’s about three to five minutes to complete,” Dean of Students Cassy Bailey said.
Because filling out the census is required, students who do not fill out the Census Adjustment will have an academic registration hold and may have to meet with Bailey.
“It’s in the constitution that you must fill it out,” partnership specialist Leo Prieto said.
Bailey said those who haven’t completed the form have been warned by alerts and e-mails.
Out of approximately 1,100 students between the Baldwin City campus and the Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center campus, just 39 students needed to complete the Census Adjustment as of Feb. 5.<br/>&#160;
