Of the 28 groups that applied to live in the Horn and Markham Apartments, only seven groups were rejected.
To become a resident of the apartments, students had to fill out an application and turn it in at the beginning of the spring semester. The applications were then rated on a point system, Dean of Students Cassy Bailey said.
Some students with disabilities, such as food allergies, are not awarded any special points. However, those disabilities are taken into consideration when filling the apartment buildings. All applicants had to mention any type of these needs on their applications.
"If there is any information to accommodate a need, it needs to be disclosed," Bailey said.<br/>&#160;
