Members of the Up ’til Dawn executive board continued to raise awareness this week for the letter-writing event that will take place March 5.
Up ’til Dawn is a student-led, student-run philanthropic program that raises money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
This year, Up ’til Dawn’s goal is to have 35 letter-writing teams consisting of five people each and to raise $28,000 for St. Jude. Each team will write 35 letters on behalf of St. Jude asking for a donation.
“This is an event that could save lives,” Katie Sellers, executive student director for Up ’til Dawn, said. “By donating just one of your Friday nights you can make a difference.”
The deadline for team registration is Tuesday.
