Cordoba’s Family Restaurant, 516 Ames St., is now open to spice up the variety of dining in Baldwin City.

The restaurant will soon be offering a full Mexican menu, as well as a full American menu.

Co-owner Jessica Cordoba said she and husband Cesar moved back to Baldwin City from Colorado three years ago with hopes of opening a family Mexican restaurant.

“My husband has always wanted to have a restaurant,” Jessica Cordoba said.

Jessica Cordoba said the restaurant is family-oriented, with about seven family members helping out. She said she hopes to offer the community more dining options with something for everyone.

“We want to offer a full Mexican and American menu so we appeal to different people in town,” she said.
