Freshman Morgan Thomas runs the 800 meters, the last of five events in the women's pentathlon. It was Thomas' first time competing in a multi-event competition. She finished eighth place at the Jayhawk Classic, held Jan. 25-26 inside Anschutz Sports Pavilion.
