“Anytime a student can balance school and athletics, they are a pretty special,” head women’s basketball coach Susan Decker said. “It takes skills to put forth the effort in the classroom and on the court.”
The NAIA announced 120 Division I women’s basketball players who received this award.
"I would say I am not the best at time management, but my parents have instilled the importance of getting good grades into me," Stacks said. "Basketball is what helps me stay focused."<br/>&#160;
