Rewards are handed out to a resident assistant, a campus resident, the most impressive monthly program and a supportive staff member each month.
Four separate committees go through and select each of the month’s winners from different nominations.
“This gives residents something to look forward to,” Associate Dean of Students Teresa Clounch said.
November’s winners range from a resident assistant who is making an extra effort to build strong bonds within his halls, to a resident venturing out into the cold to help start a car.
“Just knowing these are great examples of the people here on campus feels good,” Daniel Easton, area coordinator graduate assistant, said. “We want people to know we care and the little stuff matters.”
Program award went to a few residents of the Living and Learning Center. Tyler Falck won for resident assistant, Jimmy Stutz for resident and Meghan Harr for staff member.
