The Italian language table is in its second semester and is giving students a chance to learn a new language or brush up on what they already know.
“I taught an interterm, an intensive Italian interterm, last January and some of the students were interested in continuing their work on Italian so we started an Italian table,” faculty host Tracy Floreani said.
Floreani said the table is for any student interested in picking up simple phrases or engaging in Italian language conversation.
“We don’t have classes on it, but a lot of people are interested in the language so we are trying to give them an outlet,” Floreani said. “It certainly helps me keep up on my skills too.”
The Italian language table meets at 3:30 p.m. every Thursday in Wildcat Café. In addition, the German and Spanish language tables meet at 11:30 a.m. every Tuesday in the Harter Union cafeteria.
