“Thursday Talks with Teresa” is a new way for students to ask questions and voice their concerns about Baker’s living facilities.
Teresa Clounch, associate dean of students, is planning on visiting a different student housing building every Thursday night from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. She is considering moving the schedule up an hour after a few weeks to find out which time would allow more students to visit with her.
Clounch said her first meeting Sept. 10 in Gessner Hall was a success. About half a dozen students came to her with questions ranging from maintenance dilemmas to how to become a resident adviser.
Next week, Clounch plans to talk to residents in Irwin Hall.
“This gives me an opportunity to have some positive interactions with the students,” Clounch said.
