Liston Stadium instantly will become a family-friendly place Saturday with the addition of the KidZone.
The enclosed area, located close to the concession stand, will provide entertainment for children during the Baker Wildcat football games.
Some of the activities will include moonwalks, obstacle courses and a carnival-like setting.
The new attraction will be free for children ages 12 and under.
The KidZone will debut during homecoming this weekend as the Wildcat football team hosts Graceland University at 2 p.m. Saturday at Liston.
The KidZone will open a half hour before the game and stay open until the conclusion of the game.
Athletic Director Dan Harris said giving children at the games a form of entertainment is a high priority.
“What it does is give the kids something to do inside the stadium instead of out of it,” Harris said. “I think parents are going to feel more comfortable bringing their kids to the game. I think it’s going to be a welcomed activity.”
