The Baker wrestling team did not have to look very far to find one of its top recruits for next year.
Baldwin High School senior Josh Hanson signed with Baker after a successful four years of wrestling for the Bulldogs.
Hanson finished with a 43-9 record his senior year and a career record of 126-54. He compiled numerous honors during his high school wrestling career, including a third-place finish at the 2010 state tournament, being a member of the Academic All-State First Team for the 2009-2010 season and being named to the Kansas National Team two times.
Hanson is excited to get a chance to help contribute to a team that qualified 10 wrestlers to the NAIA Wrestling National Championships in its inaugural season and to work with head coach Jimmy May.
"Being really close to home was obviously a nice thing," Hanson said. "I also really liked coach May. He really impressed me by what he did with the team last year."<br/>&#160;
