Wildcat Football excels with a win over MidAmerica Nazarene
This past weekend, the Baker Wildcats football team took on the MidAmerica Nazarene Pirates. The game started off slow but quickly picked up after an interceptions and the Baker defense picking up a safety to give Baker the lead of 2-0.
The Wildcats kept up the pace with a total of eight touchdowns cumulated by seniors JD Woods, Jordan Green and Kwan Brooks and juniors Dwight Fagan and Nate Pauly.
At the end of the game, Junior Lorenzo Lopez creates a play, forcing a fumble to give Baker back the ball with time to run out the clock and keep their 62-20 win over the Pirates.
Baker is now 6-1 this season and will be back on the field Oct. 23 to play Evangel Valor in Springfield, Mo.
