The Baker women’s golf team finished its season by placing third at the HAAC Tournament Monday and Tuesday at Eagles’ Landing Golf Course, hosted by Avila University.
Junior Krista Yaktine led the Wildcats, shooting a 93 on Monday and coming back with an 87 on Tuesday.
Head golf coach Karen Exon was disappointed with how the team finished, but was pleased with the effort the players showed.
The Wildcats went into the tournament ranked No. 2 in the conference behind Lindenwood University, and ended up finishing third in the tournament behind Lindenwood and Avila.
“I was really pleased with how they kept their composure and how they managed the golf course despite just having the feeling that the past two days weren’t their days,” Exon said.
