Coming off one of the program’s most successful seasons in history, the Baker University men’s soccer team is looking to repeat as HAAC champions and go even deeper into the post-season tournament.
The team is practicing for the upcoming season with an upbeat and optimistic attitude.
“All of our players are very excited for the season and they continue to ask what they can do to be better prepared,” head coach Nate Houser said.
Baker is looking to dominate more possession than last year and control the pace of the game.
Houser said this is what the team missed in the national tournament last year.
Competition for this year will be strong as the HAAC is currently ranked the second toughest conference in the NAIA. Returning senior players Luke Haidarovic and goalkeeper Matt Germain have been named captains of this year's squad.<br/>&#160;
