Four students representing the Student Activities Council will be scouting comedians, hypnotists and speakers at a campus activities conference Thursday through Oct. 25 in Arlington, Texas.
“We want to bring a diverse group of activities to campus and get the greatest amount of students involved as possible,” SAC president Emily Beye said. “This conference is a chance to see what’s on the market.”
Beye, a senior, will join freshman Hannah Miller, sophomores Jasmine Heinson and Rachel Dannen and Student Activities Council adviser Meghan Harr at the National Association for Campus Activities, or NACA event.
The group hopes to bring entertainment to campus on a budget.
