Baker University has added four women to its faculty for the 2011-2012 school year.
Robyn Long is joining the department of behavioral and health sciences as a member of the psychology faculty and Kimberly Schaefer is joining the department of history, culture and society as a member of the communication faculty.
Tamara Slankard will be joining the humanities program as a member of the English faculty and Molly Anderson will join the chemistry department as an adjunct professor teaching the Basic Chemistry lab.
Long, a 2000 graduate of Baker, said she is thrilled to be working at her alma mater.
“It’s my experiences at Baker that made me want to teach,” said Long. “The small classes and a campus as intimate as Baker will allow for creative teaching and allows me to teach the way I like to.”
Long is looking forward to discussing topics of psychology that cannot be done as easily at a larger school.
