The fall season is winding down for the Baker University men and women’s golf teams.
Senior and captain Kevin Hostetter is looking forward to the final tournament of the year against Park University in Kansas City, Mo.
“It’s the last tournament of the season, so we’ve been working pretty hard this week,” Hostetter said. “Just playing and getting out there. It’s my last year, so I don’t want to have any regrets. I’m just going to go out there and play my best and see what happens.”
The men and the women will play Monday and Tuesday in Kansas City, Mo.
“The guys team has never played this course,” Hostetter said. “None of us have ever seen the course, but from what I’ve heard it’s a pretty tight course. I guess there is a lot of trouble out there. We’re just going to go out there cold turkey.”
Hostetter said this season has been a memorable one for him and for the other men on the team.
“The best part about this season, I would say just being able to play with the group of guys that we have,” Hostetter said. “Pretty much all of us are like a family, and it’s just been a blast to get to play with all those guys all semester and everything. That’s probably been my favorite part.”
