Approximately 70 people attended a party in the courtyard of the Horn and Markham Apartments during a party the weekend after classes started.
Of them, about 40 were written up by resident assistants for public consumption. <br/>Area Coordinator Graduate Assistant Daniel Easton said he received a call about the party at 10 p.m. Aug. 22 from one of the senior resident assistants at the apartments. Easton said everyone who was observed with an alcoholic beverage was written up for public consumption. Students can protest their charges during individual hearings, he said.
"Parties like this one do not give a positive view of the Baldwin community," Easton said. "Outsiders may see (Baker) as a ‘party place' and that is not necessarily a good thing." <br/>&#160;
