The Baker men’s and women’s tennis teams ended their seasons at the HAAC Championships Friday in Marshall, Mo.

Due to the heavy rainfall, play was delayed for both teams, and the women’s team didn’t even hit the courts until 9:30 p.m. The teams then decided to play to five wins and end the match to keep play from continuing too late.

The men’s team faced Lindenwood University, the team it lost to the previous weekend.

Although Baker’s men worked hard during the week to improve on mistakes from the previous Lindenwood match, play ended early, with many matches unfinished, after Lindenwood reached five wins.

"We tried to do better, things just didn't turn out well," senior captain Keith Pipkin said.<br/>The women's match against Graceland University also ended with Graceland reaching five wins. The women's match against Graceland University also ended with Graceland reaching five wins.
