Dean of Students Cassy Bailey is looking forward to Family Weekend, which begins Friday.
“We are truly giving families a wonderful Baker weekend,” she said.
Bailey has been working closely with Kelly Burns, career development coordinator, and Director of Student Life Brett Bruner to plan the weekend.
“It all comes down to cooperation and commitment,” she said. “We’re all looking forward to the events.”
Families will be able to participate in a classroom showcase, a family worship service in the Osborne Memorial Chapel, and join University President Pat Long for a reception. Several of the greek organizations will have open houses and families are encouraged to attend the football game at 6 p.m. at Liston Stadium.
"Families don't have to register in advance," Bailey said. "But if they do, they get a bag full of goodies." <br/>&#160;
