The Baker University men’s golf team ended its fall season by placing 13th out of 20 teams Monday and Tuesday in the Lindenwood University Fall Invitational at the Whitmoor Country Club in St. Charles, Mo.
Senior Adam Taylor and freshman Sean Walsh led the team, both shooting a three-round score of 244 for the tournament.
“I was really pleased with how the guys did,” head coach Karen Exon said. “Each round we scored better than we did the previous round.”
The men entered the invitational coming off a first-place finish at the Missouri Valley Invite on Oct. 18-19. The Baker women’s team also won the invitational, behind a first-place overall finish by junior Stacy Yowell.
The win capped off the fall season for the women’s team.
“All things considered, the fall season for both the guys and the girls went really well,” Exon said.
