Baker University’s fall commencement ceremonies are scheduled for 1 p.m. Dec. 13 at Collins Center. Forty one students from the College of Arts and Sciences in Baldwin City are scheduled to graduate according to the Baker University Faculty Senate’s approval list.
In addition to the issuing of diplomas, University Minister Ira DeSpain will deliver a commencement address.
“It means that my years at Baker are over but it’s a new beginning,” senior Emily Stephens said. “I’m excited to enter the real world and see where it takes me.”
Sixteen students will graduate with degrees in education. Graduates will also receive degrees in accounting, business, psychology, physical education, exercise science, mass media, sports administration, English, wildlife biology, sociology, history, mass communication and political science.
Receptions for the graduates will be in the Harter Union lobby at 2:30 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Family and friends are invited.
